In my childhood I dreamed to write a piece for choir, orchestra and maybe soloists. In 2019 I started writing a small cantata for choir a soloist and an instrument (harp or piano); word after word I completed all eight chapters of the Song of Songs book: it took me 2 years and during this time I decided that a single instrument cannot reproduce all the sounds that I had in my mind, so, after completing the first full writing in 2020, I started to orchestrate it in 2021.
The first performance had place in Parma Cathedral, September 29th, 2022, thanks to the Coro “Città di Parma”, the orchestra Bazzini Consort, Bryony Lang and Raffaele Giordani as soloists, under the conduction of Aram Khacheh. I’m very grateful to all this people.
